I feel like I am writing a letter to a friend. This might be a bit ramble-y but what’s new.
Summer 2019 has been unforgettable and I can’t really process that it’s over and done. The weather is getting chillier by the minute and I am dreading the truly cold weather and having to wear tons and tons of warm clothes. No thank you, give me hot weather any time. The summer began and ended with adventures to Greece, a major exam which taught me more than I ever expected, studied (and funnily enough understood) more about linguistics than I had in my four year course and worked a decent amount.
Hey, I graduated. I did it. I am still coming to terms with the fact that I am done with the BA programme and I feel a mix of pride, awe and a bit of nostalgia. The even better news is that I managed to get into my dream MA programme and I plan on making the most out of it. I haven’t visited classes regularly in about 2 years (that is, multiple classes per week) and that will be something to adjust to. I have been doing a decent amount of reading, not really rushing anything and mostly reading for pleasure.
I have a lot to discuss bookwise and I hope to eventually get around to it.
Another bit of good news is that I have been writing here and there, mostly stories which I have been wanting to finish. I want to expand this space and make it into something even better.
My mind is in a state of chaotic idea throwing – as I write this, I want to think about how to revamp/create a reading/writing nook at home. Oh boy.
I hope you have a spooktastic October, I hope you are well and I hope to see you soon.
(Also I have a major book update coming hopefully soon so stay tuned.)
PS. If you need to see a review or something specific based off my instagram posts or the quarterly updates, do not hesitate to let me know!
Talk to you soon. x
