I Have a New Personal Best – January Reading Wrap-Up

Yes, I am writing this mid-February but it be like that sometimes.

If you read my Life Update post, you would know that I felt a bit burned out with university stress and day-to-day life. Regardless, I somehow managed to get a lot of reading done and managed to even achieve a personal record of 17 books. I got my first e-Arc(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) which was a massive deal to me, and I also managed to squeeze a few graphic novels that I had been meaning to read for ages.

It was definitely a good reading month.

What I read in January:

  1. The House of Hades (Heroes of Olympus #4)  – Rick Riordan (5/5 stars)
  2. The Blood of Olympus (Heroes of Olympus #5) – Rick Riordan (5/5 stars)
  3. The Hidden Oracle (The Trials of Apollo #1)  – Rick Riordan (4 / 5 stars)
  4. The Dark Prophecy (The Trials of Apollo #2) – Rick Riordan ( 4 / 5 stars)
  5. The Burning Maze (The Trials of Apollo #3) – Rick Riordan (5 / 5 stars)
  6. Jocelyn’s story (A short story from The Mortal Instruments) – Cassandra Clare (3 / 5 stars)

  8. The Tyrant’s Tomb (The Trials of Apollo #4) – Rick Riordan (5 / 5 stars)
  9. Shatter Me (Shatter Me #1)  – Tahereh Mafi (2/5 stars)
  10. Destroy Me (Shatter Me #1.5) – Tahereh Mafi (5/5 stars)
  11. Heartstopper (Volume One) – Alice Oseman (5/5 stars)
  12. Heartstopper (Volume Two) – Alice Oseman (5/5 stars)
  13. House of Night (Graphic novel #1) – P.C Cast, K.Cast, K. Dalian (4/5stars)
  14. House of Night (Graphic novel #2) –  P.C Cast, K.Cast, K. Dalian (2 / 5 stars)
  15. House of Night (Graphic novel #3) –  P.C Cast, K.Cast, K. Dalian (2 / 5 stars)
  16. House of Night (Graphic novel #4) –  P.C Cast, K.Cast, K. Dalian ( 2 / 5 stars)
  17. House of Night (Graphic novel #5) –  P.C Cast, K.Cast, K. Dalian (2 / 5 stars)

I am still reading the Shatter Me series and I have enjoyed it a lot more since I finished the first book. I will definitely be doing a separate update post on the books I read in February, and my TBR is not getting any smaller, but I am enjoying everything I am reading.

What about you? Did you set any goals at the beginning of the year or are you not that type of person? Are you enjoying your current reads?
