The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black | The Folk of the Air

You know how some books give you trust issues. Yes, that’s one of those books.

The review might contain spoilers.

The Synopsis:

Jude acquired the power she wanted but can she hold on to it?

She is the Queen of Faerie in exile and is reeling by Cardan’s betrayal. She wants to take back everything he took from her and she gets that opportunity when she is presented with a chance to go back to Faerie.

War is brewing in her land and Jude must put herself at risk once more. When a powerful curse is released, Jude must make some difficult for her choices.

My Thoughts:

What I liked about this book: I am so glad that I didn’t have to wait that long for Queen of Nothing to be released after reading The Wicked KingWhile The Wicked King is my favorite book in the trilogy, The Queen of Nothing definitely gave me the biggest trust issues. I loved Jude’s character development and how she finally admitted to herself that she does have feelings and those feelings would be difficult to put aside. I loved Jude and Cardan’s banter, their overall relationship, the whole plot was just !!!!!!!! I loved it. I love this book!

What I didn’t like about the book: Did I mention that this book gave me massive trust issues? Because it did! Mainly because of Taryn and her treachery. With that being said, I hate that there was such a rift and treachery between these sisters.

A Quote: “Come home and shout at me. Come home and fight with me. Come home and break my heart, if you must.”

My rating: 5/5 stars
